Scanning or Importing batches with MaxRecall's divider page 00000274
How to scan/import batches with MaxRecall divider pages
1 - MaxRecall divider pages need to be PRINTED at 600 DPI. I believe that's the standard DPI for most printers. If the PRINT DPI is any lower, or very much higher, then MaxRecall will not be able to read the barcodes on the divider page which means the divider pages will not be read correctly. Notice I said PRINTED, not scanned. The scan DPI is a completely different thing all together but just in case you don't know, our recommendation is to scan between 200 and 300 DPI with 300 being the standard.
2 - When users need more divider pages, they will need to print new ones. They should never make copies of existing ones because each generation will be degraded and eventually the barcodes won't be readable. There is a copy of "divider.pdf" in every MaxRecall\Programs folder where MaxRecall is installed.
3 - When divider pages are used during scan or import the user must select the Page Option "Add Page(s) To One New Doc". Using "Each Page Is a New Doc" on a batch with divider pages will result in problems.
4 - This applies to imports with or without divider pages; if you are importing a multi-page image file that contains multiple documents and you want Acquisition to split each page out in to a separate file, so that it can create individual documents, then you must select "Disable MultiPage Import" in the batch control area of Acquisition before starting the import. If that option is not checked then the file will be imported whole as one document. The user would then have to manually split out the pages. But, that would also mean Acquisition will not see the divider pages if they are there.
