MaxRecall Applications Flagged as Virus Threats

 

Problem:

MaxRecall application files are flagged as virus threats and deleted from the hard drive.  When the files are removed, MaxRecall applications cease to function correctly.

 

Solution:

        Exclude the application files from your anti-virus or windows defender application.

These applications can be found on your MaxRecall server or client machines where you have installed MaxRecall.

If the machine is a MaxRecall server machine, the TPO services may have been uninstalled by the Anti-virus application or Windows defender.  You will need to re-install the TPO services by opening a command line window as Administrator and type in the following command.
