Lou Start Errors 00000177

If TPOHMS, zzhms.exe, or you are having trouble starting zzlouie.exe then check C:\maxrecall\Programs\ for a lou-start-err.txt file.  If zzlouie.exe is having trouble starting then it should log an error code.

Some common errors are listed here.  If you don't see your error listed then contact MaxRecall Support for more information.  They may need to contact our development group.

Lou start errors:

2 - in 3.3.144 the TPO Services log on as a user and a SQL login has to be created for that user.  This must be a service account, not an account that can be used to log on to the server.  Error 2 is basically a SQL login/permissions problem.

3 - no computer ID (check mrhide/ortcloud) - could also be problem connecting to database - in order to verify setup.

4 - can't read license (zpaths).

6 - problem with license (zpaths); data doesn't match the server, like DB name.

8 - can't find computer record in computers table in mxr db (try opening the computers table in the mxr db and see if you get any errors back or if it's really slow)

14 - problem in the "set in stone" routine which loads up everything a program needs to be able to run like the database and vb run time files.  Make sure there aren't multiple copies of ltocx13n.ocx or ltro13n.dll on the system - especially in System32 or SysWow64.  If there are then see if they can be deleted.  Or, run regsvr pointed to the full path of the file.

16 - probably "invalid install"; like you see in top level start error.  license file doesn't match the server - maybe migration, maybe server rename or reIP.

3111 - most likely the software is not installed or registered correctly; something is missing or not accessible.  If TPOHMS runs as user instead of the Local System Account then make sure the service account is in the Administrators group on the server.
